Summer Reading

Outgoing grade 8 (next year's ninth graders) (Please visit the LHS web site HERE)

Summer Math

Stay sharp on all of your math skills over the summer!
Review and reinforce skills for which you need more practice!

It is recommended that students work on math problems several days a
week, for about 15-20 minutes each session, over the summer break.
One of the ways that students can practice is through the IXL program.
IXL is a comprehensive math review site with an unlimited number of
math practice questions in hundreds of skills all of which are aligned to
state standards. All students have user names and passwords from the
past school year and these will remain active throughout the summer.

Go to www.IXL.com and log in, then click on “MATH” at the top of the
page. Scroll down to click on the student’s last completed grade level.
Although students may work on any skills from their own grade level,
below are suggested areas of focus for each grade.  (Click on the attachment for the grade you just completed this past year.)

The more you practice, the better off you’ll be next year!
