Curriculum Frameworks

The standards, or frameworks, are a set of guidelines that outline what content is to be taught at each grade level in schools in Massachusetts.  Some of these standards, such as science, are fairly old (2006) and are due to be updated within the next year or so.  Some of these standards, such as English and math, are very new (2011) and are being incorporated into our curriculum here at Glenbrook and at all the Longmeadow schools.  This is resulting in some changes that you should be aware of.  There is a PowerPoint at the bottom of the list of files on this page that explains the new math standards and what they mean for our district.
